A Hike to Cova Tallada South of Valencia

The Cova Tallada had been on our list for years, and we finally made time for it on a longer drive south. The hike to reach the cave starts from Les Rotes near Denia and follows the rocky coastline for about a mile and a half, with the sea below and cliffs rising on the other side the whole way. It is not exactly a secret spot anymore, but the walk itself made the visit worthwhile even before we reached the cave.
