The Wilds Midwest USA Safari – Hand Feed Some Giraffes

The Wilds in eastern Ohio runs a safari style bus tour through open land where rhinos, ostriches, and giraffes roam freely enough that hand feeding one directly from the bus window is genuinely possible. We filmed the moment a giraffe leaned its long neck straight into the vehicle for food, a scale of animal up close that felt completely out of place for rural Ohio. It is not the kind of wildlife encounter you expect to find this far from Africa.
