Modern Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires #argentina

Puerto Madero used to be Buenos Aires’ working dockland, and almost none of that history is visible anymore in the glass towers and long waterfront promenades that have replaced it. We wandered through around sunset, when the light off the water softens all that new architecture and the whole district feels calmer than its size suggests. It is a strange contrast to the rest of the city, polished and new in a place otherwise defined by its older neighborhoods.
