Inside Tierra Santa – Buenos Aires’ Jesus Theme Park (Holy Cow!)

Tierra Santa in Buenos Aires is a theme park built entirely around the life of Jesus, complete with a recreation of Bethlehem, actors in biblical costume, and a towering animatronic figure that periodically comes to life with lights and music. It is earnest and strange in roughly equal measure, somewhere between a religious pilgrimage site and an amusement park, and we genuinely could not decide the whole time whether to take it seriously or just enjoy the spectacle.
