Two days in Madrid were not nearly enough, but staying near Plaza Castilla gave us a good first look at the city’s more modern side, tall towers and wide boulevards standing in contrast to the older, denser center most visitors picture when they think of Madrid. We filmed a bit of the architecture around the plaza, curious about a part of the city that gets far less attention than the historic core. It left us wanting a proper, longer stay at some point.
