Excited For Christmas in Summer?

Somewhere in the middle of summer, we ran into a full blown Christmas display already set up and lit, decorations and all, months ahead of the actual season by anyone’s calendar. It felt deliberately, almost defiantly early, the kind of thing usually reserved for people who genuinely cannot wait for the holidays to arrive on schedule. We filmed it as a small joke more than a serious feature, the mismatch between the summer heat and the string lights doing all the work on its own.
