Timed for the run of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, a set of oversized heart sculptures appeared around the city, bright and clearly built for exactly the kind of selfie crowd they immediately attracted. We filmed people lining up to pose in front of them, phones out, everyone chasing the same shot from slightly different angles. Temporary public art like this rarely aims for subtlety, and these hearts made no attempt to be an exception to that rule.
