We cooked an eggplant based dish following a recipe from a well known food creator, the kind of preparation that takes real patience with the eggplant itself before the rest of the dish even comes together. Once finished, it turned out to be one of the better things we have eaten in a while, rich and smoky in a way that justified every extra step the recipe asked for. We filmed the plated result without any filter or extra styling, just the dish as it actually looked.
