A fireworks display in Mislata brought together a local Valencian team with a pyrotechnics group from the Netherlands for a Mascletà built around a spiderweb style pattern spreading rapidly across the night sky. We filmed the buildup and release of it, the rhythm distinct from a typical daytime Mascletà since darkness let every burst register as color rather than just sound and smoke. Collaborations like this one bring a different visual language to a very traditional format.
