For the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, artist Claudia Comte installed a large inflatable sculpture in bold, saturated colors, the kind of oversized public art that turns an ordinary plaza into something people stop and photograph before they even know the artist’s name. We filmed it lit up against the evening sky, its scale making it hard to walk past without at least slowing down. Public art tied to an event like this rarely gets this much attention on its own.
