Valencia-born architect Santiago Calatrava’s work follows us wherever we travel, and after covering his City of Arts and Sciences here at home more than once, we couldn’t skip a visit to his Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín in Santa Cruz. The building’s sweeping white curve is instantly recognizable as his style, even set against a completely different island backdrop. Seeing his work outside Valencia gave us a new appreciation for how distinctive it really is.
