Burning of the Fallas Kids Figures of Fallas 2021

By the last day of our Fallas 2021 coverage, after four days spent trying to see as many of the standing figures as possible before they disappeared, it was finally time for the burning to begin, starting with the smaller children’s figures set alight first before the larger ones later in the evening. We filmed the early flames catching, a noticeably different mood in the crowd for these smaller, gentler burns compared to the main event still to come.
