One of the strangest periods in our life was the 2020 lockdown in Spain, during which residents weren't even allowed to leave their homes except for grocery shopping. For weeks, we stayed indoors -- hanging out on Zoom with friends and family, watching loads of TV series and movies, and playing board games.
Hot on the heels of the pedestrianization of the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the city has fast-tracked redesigns of two of the city's most iconic areas: the Plaza de la Reina, and the area around the Mercado Central.
Ten years ago, Mike and I started traveling the world with this project called "For 91 Days". Since then, we haven't stayed in one place for more than four months... until 2020. Like everyone else in the world, we were suddenly stuck at home. It's been a difficult adjustment for two guys accustomed to a mobile lifestyle.
